The Man Behind MONGO
Al “AP” Pryor's love for golf began at just 10 years old, playing alongside his dad and his golfing buddies in Dallas, Texas. What began as a childhood pastime grew into a lifelong passion and an extraordinary career.
AP attended Texas A&M University, where he played four years on the golf team and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Business and Finance. He went on to become a PGA Golf Professional, gaining experience in competitive golf, golf operations, and management.
After nearly 50 years in the golf profession, AP will tell you that his greatest joy isn't found in a tournament victory or a perfect round. It's found in teaching others, sharing what he's learned, and helping golfers discover just how much FUN the game can be.
A devoted Christian, husband, father, and proud Popa, AP believes that golf offers opportunities to teach much more than a golf swing. Through patience, perseverance, integrity, friendship, and faith, he strives to make a difference in the lives of those he meets—both on and off the course.
